The Mac Pro base price is higher than it was, but keep = in mind that the iMac has been pushed considerably higher spec than it = used to be, so the Mac Pro had to up-spec as well to avoid too much = overlap. My main gripe with it so far is 1GB Ethernet only. I might buy = one, but at this stage, the biggest threat to Apple/OS X is probably = EC2.
