I use the hex box very often in the same fashion for getting values copy and pasted from time to time. Handy to paste one value instead of three individual RGB ones.

Is it just me, or does anybody else think it's curious that Adobe would make a change like "the hex code field is highlighted" to address the concerns of ONE Ae user?

I use HSB or RGB values.  I never use hex values, and I'm guessing that goes for a vast majority of users.  Maybe I'm wrong.  This isn't going to spoil the Ae experience for me, and will be a nuisance hereafter (I now have to click Tab five times to highlight the Hue field.), and not a deal-breaker.  It's a small thing in the grand scheme.

Again, Todd K., I'm not complaining about you, and I'm glad that the Ae team is being responsive to user requests.  In this case, Peter's not annoyed any more - good for him, but what about the rest of us?  We've been told features get implemented by a majority of requests.  Adobe has pretty much undermined that claim by revealing that they made a change to suit one user.
