That would be a great time saver, and while we're at it, in 16 bit, entering 0-255 does the *256 conversion Actually now that I think about it, it would be really cool if that Hex Value field was smart enough that you could also type in numeric RGB values into the same field as a comma delimited list, and have the values automatically converted to their appropriate Hex values when you hit Tab or Enter. That would be the best of both worlds for all types of AE keyboard jockeys.

I use the hex box very often in the same fashion for getting values copy and pasted from time to time. Handy to paste one value instead of three individual RGB ones.
