You get your choice of legalizing methods, either reducing saturation or = reducing luma, or our "Smart Limit" mode (the default) which does a = combination of methods, trying to achieve a perceptual match to the original color. The Legalizer controls are available directly in the ECW in CF's = "simplified interface" so no need to launch the full UI. ----- Bob Currier rcurrier@synthetic-ap.com Synthetic Aperture www.synthetic-ap.com Helping Make Your Work Look Its Best On Fri, Dec 27, 2013 7:06 AM, Jim Curtis wrote: >I already partially answered this, Anders. =A0I get some of my corporate >colors as RGB values, with no hex values supplied. =A0 > > >Another=A0of my main uses for the color picker is to legalize colors. >=A0Most of the logos I get are EPS files, and the colors are illegal=A0for >broadcast. > >I was wondering which is the right method to legalize colors. =A0I often >use the Brightness control, but wonder if that's proper. =A0 > >Seems to me there are three options, using HSL / HSB: > >1.
