Now that you are on Win8 the win key of course works a bit differently= . Maybe try to press Win+C to bring up the clock and Charms menu and see if= that forces a redraw too and stops the flickering.

Hello,=20

This is probably suited for Todd but if anyone else has experienced th= is, I appreciate the help. =A0I keep getting what I've been referring t= o as an epileptic fit with AE. =A0That seems the best way to describe it. = =A0Every once in a while (too often) it just starts this spasming and flick= ering where I see all of the other windows showing through as it flickers. = =A0I've never lost anything due to this but it goes for like a full min= ute or more sometimes before it stops.

Any thoughts on what could cause this? =A0I purge my memory probably w= ay more than necessary, thinking that might help but it doesn't.

I'm running windows 8 and it's done it quite a bit and more so= since the recent update to 8.1.

Any settings or anything that could cause this?

Thanks,
Eric
