MacHeist is promotion that takes place= once a year where smaller independent software publishers offer their apps i= nto a bundle. You can pay a nominal fee to buy the bundle saving a large amo= unt. Or you can play the game and solve puzzles to earn and unlock additiona= l apps. The games have gotten more and more complex over the past couple of y= ears and have begun to use an iPhone app as the hub for the heist. If you ha= ve the time it can be pretty good fun solving the puzzles. But it's just eas= ier to plunk down $40 and buy the bundle. A portion of the proceeds go to ch= arities and its a good opportunity for smaller publishers to get some public= ity
