MacHeist is promotion that takes place once a year where smaller independent software publishers offer their apps into a bundle. You can pay a nominal fee to buy the bundle saving a large amount. Or you can play the game and solve puzzles to earn and unlock additional apps. The games have gotten more and more complex over the past couple of years and have begun to use an iPhone app as the hub for the heist. If you have the time it can be pretty good fun solving the puzzles. But it's just easier to plunk down $40 and buy the bundle. A portion of the proceeds go to charities and its a good opportunity for smaller publishers to get some publicity Sent from the ubiquitous Apple communication device I like to call Boris.
