Just a follow-up..

Seems like what they did was shoot the same actress in different
stages of "touched up" and then meld them together revealing sections
and stuff, more than actually using the real tools to achieve the
effect.. which sounds more practical in the long run.. revealing
made-up skin and clean hair, etc would be much easier than roto work
and tracking blemishes, etc.
