We did try to make use of the virtual sets. It was a much hairier mess than predicted.
The keying technology has been useful, though.
That said, my personal opinion is that we the main benefit of having bought the company is the employees. Several of my favorite coworkers are from the Serious Magic acquisition.
Ironic that Adobe acquired a virtual set company (Serious Magic) but then failed to ever develop the software into a tool for AE or Premiere. I guess they bought the tech for other reasons? Keying, maybe?
