You can find out the frame number/file name of the currently selected image by pressing cmd shift e and it will appear in the info pallette When using the paint or root rush you can use 1 and 2 keys on the keyboard with your left hand to advance and go back a frame. Correction: Jump to *visible* keyframes or layer markers. The layer doesn't have to be selected.
