Just select the closest point in the little map to where the top of the stroke ends, deselect 'parent to null' and execute.

I have created a long white stroke using the shape tool and placed the anchor point at the bottom and have rotated it so that it is angled. There are a lot of them, and it's important that the anchor point for all of these is the same. I am wondering if there is a tool or script or something rather out there that would give me the position data of the top of the stroke? 

The use would be to add text to these points and have them track with the camera. So I could undo rotation, parent and redo, but I'd like to be able to just set all my lines and choose which one's I want to add text to.
