the thing i like about doing it in ps is that i can do all sorts of things there, like applying a color profile, to the entire ps file - so if you stack the pages you can change them all to HD 709 and save as a psd is one step. i always do profile changes on psd's in ps rather than within ae, so i don't have to go through all the layers in an imported psd and change them one by one.
