AFAIK, the media folder contains original elements in their original size. So even if they are scaled down in a ppt slide, they could be larger in the media folder.

Open the extracted the folder. You'll find a "ppt" folder, which contains a "media" folder.  All the assets are in there.  jpegs, audio...
