Jim,

If I may ask, just for testing, wh= at type of object do you want the effect to flicker on?

Comp is 23.976 fps.

Anyway… I think I'm onto something.  Be= tter ideas welcomed.

Hey Jim,

I've never seen a tutorial about fire makin= g that is specific to using an AE light but if you just mean, building a fi= re that reacts to light, I've seen several.  Here's one that u= ses particles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3D1z9ti_dGgQE

The guy in the video above also shows his fire in a sep= arate link (under more on youtube) or here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DWV_j0RvnXfk&feature=3Dyout= u.be&t=3D24s

So, I guess practical fire isn't an option, such as= some of the Andrew Kramer stock fire stuff?  I know there are a coupl= e of them that look just like a normal camp fire and are real of course.

Eric
