That one is still fairly relevant but is over a year old and will only test your GPU. I want a series of tests that will stress multiple aspects of AE such as SSD cache times and frame retrieval, cineware rendering, element 3D rendering, RAM, CPU and GPU. George, I have the latest MBP with the faster i7 quad core and I can tell you it's a beast. It's faster than the quad core mac mini (3.6 ghz). Don't have a comparison vs an imac but I can imagine it's pretty comparable. And of course check out Tom's Hardware reviews, they usually have great and very detailed benchmarks on components and full machines. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Apple-Macbook-Pro-Retina-Haswell,23479.htmlfor example good luck -TG On Mon, Feb 17, 2014 at 4:45 PM, scott.aelist wrote: > Teddy has some here.. > http://www.teddygage.com/AEBENCHCS6/ > > > On Mon, Feb 17, 2014 at 1:42 PM, George Loch wrote: > >> I am looking to add a C4D/AE machine to my stable but, I want to compare >> performance differences between various options (iMacs vs Macpros, 4 core >> vs 8 core, etc).
