for CS6:

"2.1.3 Portable or Home Computer Use. Subject to the restrictions set forth in Section 2.1.4, the

primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed under Section 2.1 (“Primary User”)

may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer

or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home

Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer. "

Again, the primary enforcement mechanism for this is within you. I am not going to come to your home and audit your computer systems. I'd also prefer if you not have any conversations in front of me (virtually or otherwise) that would obligate me to tell people who may have a different attitude about such matters.

The OP was about CS6.  The terms changed on CC, IINM.

My understanding was that with CS6, only one of two installs was allowed to be used at one time.  The CC license allows multiple (maybe even unlimited) installs, but only two activations, both of which may be used at the same time.

But, I could be wrong.

Ding ding ding, best answer.

Microsoft and Apple have "family" plans, but AFAIK Adobe's license is considered an "individual" license for up to 2 machines.

I think that the primary enforcement mechanism in this case is your conscience.

Is it acceptable that it would be my license running on her computer? There won't be any issues with Adobe registration seeing that the computer is registered to her, not me?

I have never had an issue running two instances simultaneously, a laptop and a desktop, on the same network.

HI all,

Maybe you guys have run into this before.

I own the CS6 suite, which of course allows me to install it on 2 different computers. I understand the idea is that it should only be running on one of them at a time, but I'm not sure how this is enforced when the computers are not on a network where they can communicate.

I have only installed my CS6 suite on 1 computer. Is it possible for me to install Photoshop CS6 on my fiance's computer without breaking the license?

Thanks for any info!

Sean
