You probably won't know until you get the footage. In my experience if the footage works with one tracker it will work with them all. If the footage has lots of motion blur, or is noisy, then you'll have problems in all tracking packages. Try the AE one and see how you go. Syntheyes is cheap. I've always preferred PF Track because of the interface but it costs a lot more.

It's difficult to say without seeing the field and if there are any other features to track. I've posted many times before that you can often have more problems painting out tracking markers than you would have tracking the footage without them. If you do decide to put markers in the field then keep in mind that you'll have to remove them later…
It really comes down to the quality of the footage. If you're shooting from a drone then motion blur might be a problem. Perhaps a higher frame rate and a fast shutter speed will help. Be great if you could do some tests first.
