Sounds like a fun project. If you don't mind me asking, do you know much about the drone or the camera being used? We just picked up a low-end solution at my work that works amazingly well: DJI Phantom with Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal and GoPro Hero 3+ with first person view (FPV.) Very stable and does a great job. Wish we could afford a larger octocopter to fly a heavier camera, but this is still a great improvement over not having aerial videography at all.

Subject: [AE] Motion tracking
Helle people,
I will start a exciting motion tracking assignment in a week.
The footage will be shot by a Drone. We will film a large open field where there eventually be 3D buildings.
So some motion tracking and some 3D work.
Would the 3D camera tracker inside of AE be sufficient or should I try an other one?
And do I need tracker markers on the field?
I am new at this and every tip is very welcome.
Cheers,
Anthony
