Rolling shutter definitely plays havoc and introduce= s noise into the track a bit, but if you're able to simulate the same w= arble look, it may actually work. Might require a few extra hand key frames= on the position property to fine tune any pops in the track from the the r= olling shutter noise. Good start though.

I used the AE tracker as is, no warp adjustment or anyt= hing and got fantastic track points. =A0Then I just tossed in an building f= rom Element 3D, added a little Bezier to bend the building some.

Thes= e two examples show exactly the horrible rolling shutter wobble that David = mention. You will have a horrible time stabilizing and tracking some of the= se, and the extreme distortion of the GoPro optic makes it a even more un-f= un.

AE has a Rolling Shutter Repair effect, but i don't= think it can compensate for these cases, only the usual pan shear distorti= on. Or? i havnt tried it myself on any of such footage actually, so i would= love to be proven wrong about this.
