Benny, the one tricky thing that I forgot about is that I had also = separated X and Y on the ball so pick whipping wasn't an option. It = would obviously be messy if you had more than a few objects on screen = but it would be great for tracing out motion paths.=20 On 2014-02-26, at 8:30 AM, Andrew Embury wrote: > Hey Sean, >=20 > You can change your "Display" settings for showing it's keyframed path = here: >=20 > Edit -> Preferences -> Display >=20 > Once here, just click on the "All KeyFrames" radial button. >=20 > As Benny mentioned, I would simply just animate with 3D stroke to get = the path of the object in question. >=20 > If you need any other help free feel to contact me off list. :) >=20 > Cheers. >=20 > - Andrew >=20 >=20 > On Wed, Feb 26, 2014 at 1:12 PM, sean cusson wrote: > Just in case someone jumps in with this one solution I figured I would = go ahead and post that I just took a screen shot of my comp while the = ball was selected and am going to drop that in to my comp and trace the = shape path over it. >=20 > On 2014-02-26, at 8:06 AM, sean cusson wrote: >=20 > > I have a ball bouncing through my scene and would like to have a = line trail behind it. Hey Sean,

You can = change your "Display" settings for showing it's keyframed path = here:

Edit -> Preferences -> = Display

Once here, just click on the "All KeyFrames" radial = button.

As Benny mentioned, I would simply just = animate with 3D stroke to get the path of the object in = question.

If you need any other help free feel to contact me off list. = :)

Cheers.
