Right now, there are a dozen art fairs in NYC.
I just saw the Brucennial (the free one), and highly recommend it for
getting your head around the insane direction the arts are heading.
It's on Washington/13th.  You just take the E to 14th and walk west to
Washington.
I do NOT recommend the Independent on 22nd.  Last year it was good,
this year it's all flash, and some of it looks like cheesie folk art.
In previous years, SCOPE has been good, but since the recession,
everything has been a toss-up.  The Armory at Pier 92-94 is sometimes
pretty good.
