I need to = automatically check for AE projects whether all required plugins are = installed.

I can collect the match names of all = effects used in the project and compare them with the installed ones = (available in app.effects).
But what about version = numbers?

Is there any way to get the version = number of the effects used in the project (and also of the ones that are = installed)?
Or does the matchname change whenever a new = version of a plugin is incompatible with an older = one?
