Hi everyone,

I need to automatically check for AE projects whether all required plugins are installed.

I can collect the match names of all effects used in the project and compare them with the installed ones (available in app.effects).

But what about version numbers?

Is there any way to get the version number of the effects used in the project (and also of the ones that are installed)?

Or does the matchname change whenever a new version of a plugin is incompatible with an older one?
