Whenever I hear stories like that I always wonder if it’s just some issues on a specific machine (those can happen to anyone) or if it’s more broad-based. I don’t know the answer, just asking the question.

I’ve been running Mavericks on MBP Retina with all Adobe stuff fine, but do keep an older mac pro back at 10.8.5 because it’s got legacy version software and plugins installed. Note: It is NOT a daily driver.
