I received a new MacPro last week and so had to go to Mavericks. I’ve been running AE, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, and FCPX without any issues (along with various 3rd party plugins, primarily RedGiant and Video CoPilot plugins). It is very, very, very fast.

The couple of folks I know who have had with Mavericks did not do a clean install of Mavericks, so that might be one thing to consider when upgrading.

I like Mavericks. It is not really that different from 10.7.5 once you turn Library visibility back on and a couple things of that sort. I greatly prefer the simple look of Calendar and Contacts, etc. Thank god Skeuomorphism died.

Did I mention it was fast?

James
