Rob,

I'm working at a place with 2 FCP = suites, one on Mavericks and one on 10.8.5.  The Mavericks one has = severe problems with FCP and Red Cine.  In a general sense it is = unstable to the point of being unusable.
As I'm not a FCP editor I = can't describe the exact problems but basically the system just = beachballs a lot, especially when dragging footage and folders = around.

I don't know if it's just that one machine or if FCP in = general is flaky on Mavericks, but if you rely on FCP then I'd be pretty = careful and would not transition to it just = yet.
