| Sorry if I wasn't clear. My RAID has read/write speeds up to and over 2GB/sec, depending on which test I run and with what file size. It's an 8 x 2TB 6G/s SAS drive RAID5. I have it partitioned into (4) 3.5 TB disks, one of which holds the caches for all my Adobe apps, and stock libraries. So, the caches have never filled up yet. I usually dump them when they get pretty large.
I use a 500G SSD for a boot drive. I have to say that it doesn't seem that much faster than the SATA I replace it with, as far as booting goes. It does launch Excel noticeably faster, though. Sigh.
At first I read this as a "2GB PCIe RAID" and I'm thinking - "wow, only a 2 GB SSD? That must fill up quick"
How much room on there? curious about read / write speeds too...
