However, I usually use Excel or Numbers for pre-viz and then rebuild it from scratch with the rendered graphs as a guide for proportions. Much easier to animate and customize in my experience. The AE raytracer + shape layers is also great for making fancy-looking graphs that don't look like anything Powerpoint could churn out...
