Great, glad it worked. :) David Torno Technical Director O: 213.739.2290 C: 818.391.6060 --------------------
"The most useless day is that in which we do not laugh" -Charles Field Thanks a lot for the tip, David! I always thought this only works for error messages and I’ve seen other dialogs where it didn’t help. But I just tested it and in this case it works perfectly. :-)
Cheers, Mathias I thought there was a app.beginSuppressDialogs() method for this. Pg 19 in the scripting guide David Torno Technical Director O: 213.739.2290 C: 818.391.6060 --------------------
"The most useless day is that in which we do not laugh" -Charles Field Hi everyone,
for an automated pipeline, I need to open projects from CS5.5 and CS6 in AE CC.
When I do it manually, everything is easy: I get a dialog that informs me that the projects needs to be converted, I click “ok" and everything is fine.
However, I need to do that for many projects fully automatically via scripting. As a script has no way to click the “ok”, it stops at this point and waits forever.
Is there any way to do the conversion to AE CC automatically? Or even better: Is there any robust way to suppress popup dialogs in AE?
Cheers, Mathias
