I suppose most users would actually be more interested in learning if they ever plan to stabilize their core engine and fix all those bugs. Many users feel that they are branching out in too many directions too rapidly and don't have a handle on the quality of their various implementations...

Hanging out at the NVIDIA GPU Tech conference this week and just attended a session with Jules from OTOY, where he revealed plans for Octane Renderer 2.0. One feature that caught my eye for this group is the fact they’ll be releasing a plugin for After Effects which will allow you to preview the render using Octane, right in the comp view.
I’ll be getting more details from them about it when I talk to them later today or tomorrow….
