But you was able to spell it out :) Yes, proxies is also a nice solution. But they should be =ABpermanent=BB = proxies. If AE change from proxies to the =ABreal=BB comp at render = time, the problem would still occur. Changing keys to hold frames does indeed do the trick! Thanks!
