Thanks for you suggestions Teddy. Seems like that would make a great
machine. After a quick look it seems that it would be way higher than 1500
though, but I'll have another look.

Regarding the Gtx580 vs the 780 is there a big difference between the two
regarding performance? I can't seem to find a 580 here in Sweden.
