Clean install is probably your best option
1. uninstall CC
Mac:
• Open Finder and go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers
• Double-click an Adobe product to remove
• Follow on-screen instructions
Windows
• Open the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features
• Choose an app and click Uninstall/Change
• Follow the on-screen instructions
2. reinstall CC
download the CC Desktop App and install apps you need from there.
3. install each plugin as if they were new (make sure they’re all CC compatible). I think you’re asking for trouble if you try to reinstall your plugins by moving folders.

good luck!

Hello,

Starting a new thread on this now after having made the jump, I'm having some issues I need to resolve.  First, as I expected, the plugins and everything did not go too smoothly.  I've got every plug in under the sun, Red Giant, VideoCopilot, Foundry Cam Tracker, etc.  So copying a couple folders doesn't really do the trick.  They all have oddball locations.

I attempted to copy most and was successful on a lot.  Then I ended up with hundreds of duplicates and I think basically I need to now reinstall CC.

I can't find where to find the install file to do that and when I went to the CC page, download, it brings up the interface which says of course, it's already up to date.

How do I reinstall CC again and is there a way to do it without downloading it again?

What a mess.

Thanks,

Eric
