Are you using Photoshop or some other programme that requires a disk cache? Rob
Suddenly, I am plagued with this error box every day several times a day.
"Your Mac OSX startup disk has no more space available for application memory"
I also lists my open apps to force quit. I have 176 GB left on my startup drive and 16 GB of RAM.
The window never goes away even when I force quit apps but it can happen if I just have mail open.
Running OS 10.8.5
What is causing this and how do I get rid of it?
