You can copy your sequence in Pr, and paste it into a same sized comp in = Ae (or use the "Replace with Ae Composition" in Pr after selecting all = your clips), and skip going back to Pr and Dynamic Link. You can CC in Speed Grade, which has some new enhancements for going = back and forth to Pr (and improvements on the way. I have not gotten up = to speed in SpeedGrade myself yet.). However=85 If you only need a "simple, fast colour grade," why not do it in Pr? It = has scopes and a variety of cc tools that are satisfactory, and CUDA = accelerated if you have a qualified GPU. I used to send most of my = color work to Ae, mostly for the masking of secondaries, but I'm getting = the hang of it in Pr, especially after I discovered the FREE CI Power = Window plug for Pr. You can render at high bit depth in Pr by Sequence = Settings>Maximum Bit Depth and a similar switch in the Export window. =20= I generally only link to Ae now when I need a more advanced process like = sky replacement, extreme contrast fixing by masking, tracking/roto. I'm looking forward to the new mask tools in Pr, as it sounds like I'll = have to use Ae less for advanced cc tricks. Oh, and source side (clip = based) color settings is very welcome news. I have never used Premiere Pro before.
