You could script something like that, but I can't think of a way to do it other than that.

To avoid the issues with sometimes getting an error rendering to .MOV that I described in my last post.
 
Is there an easy way to setup a render so that it renders to an image sequence and audio file first and then uses those images and audio files to render out a video file?
 
I.e. For example render comp to TGA sequence and .WAV and then render to .MOV without having to setup a new project importing TGA sequence and WAV file and setting up a new render?
