move the imovie proj file over to mac with = =C2=A0FCP 6 or 7 or maybe FCP X

open iMovie project into FCP, export XML

take XML into PP along with original media files on PC

the problems : FCP will only go back something like 2 versions on imovie. I= once had to find a copy of imovie 5 to open project from iM3, save it out = and then I think FCP6 opened the iM5 project.. or I had a copy of im7 that = could open iM5, then save as Im7. FCP6 would only go back to iM6... or some= such craziness. I then took the FCP 6 proj and moved it to FCP7 for actual= edit. there may be some major PITA messing around like this involved.

if imovie on ipad can export XML and you can get that file, you may be able= to open in the NLE of your choice. of course the XML it might make may be = for FCP X only...

another option - get HDMI adapter cable for iPad, connect to I/O box with H= DMI in, play it out iPad and record on PC. low tech but might be the fastes= t and easiest way to get it done
