FCP7 works fine in Mavericks in my experience (though I use FCPX primarily now). Others have said the same. But it is always good to test before you make any mission critical changes. Don’t upgrade in the middle of a big project…
I was unable to run Adobe CC apps in Lion. Under Mavericks they are running fine.
It’s also worth it to upgrade to FCPX 10.1

Just in case you need to run FCP7 or use it to migrate projects to Pr:
FWIW, an Apple tech friend of mine strongly recommends Mavericks over Lion.

Hi Guys,
I need an advice from you. I have a 2012 MBP (i7, Ati 6670) with Lion on It. Now the Lion starts to get rusty and I am thinking about a reinstall. Should I upgrade to Mavericks?
Usually I use Adobe products (Ae, Pr, Ps, Ai, In).
Thanks Gergo
