Yes, proxies is also a nice solution. But they should be =C2=ABpermanent=C2= =BB proxies. If AE change from proxies to the =C2=ABreal=C2=BB comp at rend= er time, the problem would still occur.

Changing keys to hold frames does indeed do the trick!
