Yes, naturally the Adobe and QuickTime plug-ins will be Mac and Windows, but the POM library will be cross-platform and work on Linux and any other OS that has a C++ compiler.  The Nuke plug-in will be made for Linux as well as Mac and Win.

MXF appears to use a 32-bit integer to specify dimensions, so the maximum frame size is 4294967295 pixels on a side.  I think that should keep us pretty future-proof.  ;)
