It is licensed under the GPL, so it can freely be used by other GPL = software, i.e. nothing commercial. You can also pay to license it for = use in a commercial program. But that is separate from the H.264 patent licensing, which applies = regardless of how you encode your video. MPEG LA says they will not = charge for anyone posting free H.264 internet videos, but every other = application is fair game. Brendan
