dynamic layers?

2014-05-16 0:22 GMT+02:00 Lachlan Westfall <lachlan@quietearth.net>:
All,

I'm working on animating movie posters, so If often inherit incredibly = complex 100+ layer photoshop files.

I have one now that I just cannot import into AE. It's 300MB file, but = I've imported files 5 times that size before.

This one DOES have a dizzying amount of curves, levels, color fills and vir= tually every type of adjustment available. I've done my best to flatten= as many sections as possible.

AE brings it in and I see the Comp and the folder, but then the black arrow= cursor sits there with a white tip and doesn't change. A minute later = I get the beach ball and have to force quit.

I've tried this with two different versions of AE on two different comp= uters--same problem.

Is there some specific PS adjustment layer that is KNOWN to mess with AE?
I have 17GB allocated to AE, and cleared all the chaches and stuff.
