I almost always use AME because I can=92t stop working in AE while I=92m =
rendering. I don=92t notice much of a speed hit with AME because I =
seldom use MP rendering or processing because H.264 is not MP aware for =
rendering in the Render Cue and most of the 3rd party effects and output =
codecs that I use slow way down with MP enabled. In the last two weeks =
I=92ve produced more than 1.5 hours of AE projects, all rendered through =
the AME. If I had stopped to render or taken the speed hit in AE by =
opening another instance my output would have been about half. I don=92t =
know about your shop, but I get paid by the project, not by the hour, so =
the more projects that I can deliver in an hour, the bigger the check.

Who knows what is coming in the future, but as CC sits now, this is the =
most efficient workflow for me.=
