I am rendering out of premiere using a YouTube preset (however I am getting the same results with several of the presets) Several AE comps included in the timeline as well as 1.3 hours of video shot with a canon fx105. A few fades and a couple of titles, 2 audio tracks. Nothing special here. Render goes fine albeit it seems very slow, 7 hours to complete on a Dell t7600, dual 6 core Xeon, 128 gigs ram. I have rendered using three different presets trying to get a handle on what is going on. Windows media player opens the files fine. No problem QuickTime gives the following error: “Error -2002: a bad public movie atom was found in the movie”.  Anyone have any experience with this? Solutions? Ideas? I am at a university and QT playback is kind of important here.

Thanks in advance.

Bill
