Hey fellas

got= a bit of a problem. it seems I created this mastery of faux 3d chart pie
with tons of linking to a master controller.=A0

the thing is when I duplicate the master comp because I need another kin= d in the same AE session (lets call it Pie_01 and Duplicate and Renaming it= Pie_02) - all of those nifty expressions get broken (because they all refe= rence to the comp and it doesn't get changed in the expression editor f= or those layers when I duplicate)=A0

and I see no other way but going one layer's expres= sion at a time and changing the reference comp to a different name or do it= in another session, pre render it and import as a movie - what I eventuall= y did.

can someone show me the light please?
either = there is something I missed when I wired this linking mechanism or somethin= g
that I can do after the fact. for instance making all those exp= ression change to a comp
of my choosing by using layer control expression of some sort.

and on that subject - is there a script or a way to re-li= nk broken expressions after you messed it up but clicked "undo" -= I have always wondered...

hope I was clear

thanks a bunc= h.
