The association between the ESTK and After Effects is made at the time that=
 the ESTK application is installed. It may be that you have multiple versio=
ns of the ESTK installed and that you installed them in a strange order.

The easiest thing to try would be to uninstall all versions of the ESTK tha=
t you currently have installed and then reinstall the current version from =
Creative Cloud. When it is installed, it should get the correct association=
s with After Effects.
