I'd say I'm intermediate level at mocha maybe a bit more. this shot I am talking about involved a lot of shear and sun directly at the camera was very difficult especially during the shearing. had to manually track it in mocha and also in AE with RG corner pin offsets. used rotobrush for the hands which worked amazing considering it was difficult because the thumb just hangs still but slightly moves all the time. here are the results: http://vimeo.com/91848847 here is the before: shot#1 direct sun made track difficult also didnt have the actual screen borders visible for reference and had to manually adjust it by eyes. shot#2 was easier to track and still didnt have to screen borders and had to manually place them at times to make sure I was referencing the actual screen. what do you think was the optimal way for preparing?
