I recommend against dropping the official expansion. I can tell you from mu=
ch painful experience that this will backfire, since people will invent exp=
ansions if there is no official one. This doesn't mean that you ever need t=
o use the full name 'Movie eXchange Format', but having it as the official =
answer to the frequent question will prevent a lot of idiocy.=20
