I’ve had mine since July 2013. Got the 2D gimbal in January 2014 and have flown it a LOT. Lot of nice shots. Still, I continue to get yawing that I can’t control.
It’s not bad, but enough to bug me. No crashes yet. I’m a long-time r/c pilot (airplanes, sailplanes) but I DO fly in GPS mode for stability and safety.

Loved your footage. Got a quote from a local vendor here in Salt Lake City. They’ll replace the 2D/install the 3D gimbal for $389. Worth the 10 bucks I’d save
on Amazon.

I don't blame you. When I saw some footage on youtube, I had to have this thing. Check this out as well, also on a windy day. In fact in my test run of this off over land, I sent that baby crashing hard in to a grassy knoll, just missing
water. It handled it well and now I'm done with crashes....I have it down very well now.
In this shot though, it was a dicey operation to skim over the water even though it was 8-10 ft above but stumps, etc. Reminded me of some Louisiana bayou looking place in Maryland.

Dang! I’ve gotta get a 3D gimbal. Big difference to also have yaw stabilization. Now I have gimbal

Mine says it has the
Zenmuse H3-3D (not sure of the difference between 2D and 3D version). Here's the link to the package I purchase and is used in that shot.
It was definitely windy and I got some pretty darn good footage. Or maybe it's just my spectacular flying skills.

Eric,
What gimbal came with your package? I have the Zenmuse H3-2D. Perfectly stable in pitch and roll,
but not in yaw axis. IOW, in wind, my DJI Phantom will still rotate a bit in yaw. Still have to pick near windless flying days to get really good footage.

I actually shot the footage you saw in considerable wind and stable as hell. Probably 15-20 mph.
Phantom 2.

Save yer money, skip the Parrot. We had one. You will outgrow it in the first week, it is not stable at all and does not like wind.
Get something like the Phantom, that can handle a 3-D gimbal for that rocksteady footage. You won't be sorry.
