| Hi all, I don't like to jump on the list every time I make a tutorial, but I've just posted a new series that looks at the desktop video revolution and it's fairly epic, so I thought it was worth sharing: http://provideocoalition.com/czwar/story/the-desktop-video-revolution-part-1 I have never spent so much time or effort on creating an online article before, so I'm relieved it's finally up and hope you all enjoy it! It has been interesting to reflect on how things have changed since I began my first job, when we had After Effects v3.1 running on a 120mhz PowerMac that had 128 meg RAM. I had never heard of After Effects when I started, now it's the basis of my profession... I know that many people here began using desktop technology at a similar time to me - I was originally on the IMUG list for years before I switched to the AE list - so hopefully you can relate to how things were going on the other side of the world.
